Welcome!

This year 763 varsity college football teams will play over 4,000 games.  In 2017, four schools have added football (Alabama-Birmingham, Dean, St. Andrews, Texas Wesleyan), one school dropped the sport (Maranatha Baptist Bible) and another went out of business (St. Joseph's in Indiana). Virginia University of Lynchburg will be a countable opponent for the NCAA and NAIA this year due to its joining the National Christian College Athletic Association.

These pages contain complete team schedules, game scores, conference listings, links to team home pages, and other college football links. The ratings, described here, were used by the BCS from 2001 to 2013.  Since 2014 they have been part of USA Today's College Football Computer Composite rankings.

Dave Rothman, a friend and a pioneer in the mathematics of sports ratings, died in 2004.  His margin-of-victory based rating system ("FACT") was used by the BCS until 2002.  FACT is in the public domain, its results can be seen here.
