This year 759 varsity college football teams played over 4,000 games. In 2015, four schools added football (East Tennessee State, Kennesaw State, Finlandia, Lyon) and four schools dropped the sport (Alabama-Birmingham, Paine, Menlo, Haskell Indian Nations). Congratulations to the playoff winners: Alabama Crimson Tide, North Dakota State Bison, NW Missouri State Bearcats, Mount Union Purple Raiders, and the Marian (IN) Knights.
